Cob

Cob is one of those dragons who is greatly misunderstood.

The people of the town feel trapped because the dragon lives on the only road leading out of town. Everyone is afraid to try and leave.

Armor and weapons scatter the ground outside his cave and smoke billows from his fire breath.

But, the brave young knight, Sir Pop makes a discovery. Cob the dragon is only seeking friends. He is lonely and wants companionship.

Sir Pop takes Cob back to town and the children play on his back. Then he uses his fire breathe to make popcorn to celebrate.

So, Cob was not scary at all. He just wanted company.

The moral Cob teaches is an important one. Always be polite and never judge someone on how they look.
